Business Management

Business Management and Digital Transformation (5 ECTS)
This course is designed to provide the necessary knowledge to understand the main areas of a company and how, from an IT perspective, one can interact with and serve the different departments, understanding their operations and speaking their language. Additionally, it will assess the impact of digital transformation and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, on the company's overall strategy.

Leadership Skills (5 ECTS)
The objective of this course is to understand the different types of leadership and the roles they play within companies. Furthermore, it aims to provide the techniques and tools necessary to establish a professional growth plan, promoting personal leadership based on self-awareness, recognizing strengths and areas for improvement to ensure an efficient results-oriented approach.

Economic and Financial Management (5 ECTS)
This course provides the basic economic knowledge and skills necessary for a technology leader to understand the executive language of top management, interpret key cost-related indicators, effectively manage an IT budget, and make informed decisions about the most suitable projects to undertake.

ICT Management in the Company

Strategic Planning of ICT (5 ECTS)
This course focuses on evaluating the importance of various business strategies and the ability of professionals to integrate them into the IT domain, including artificial intelligence, while fulfilling the leadership role expected of a person in a Technology Management position. Throughout the course, an IT strategic plan will be defined, structured, and developed.

ICT Governance (5 ECTS)
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of information and communication technology management within organizations. It highlights the significance of the CIO's role and its impact on the organization, as well as IT governance and strategies for controlling costs in the IT department. Additionally, it will explore key aspects of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and organizational systems.

Information Systems Management (5 ECTS)
Information Systems and Information and Communication Technologies (IS/ICT) have evolved from merely supporting roles to becoming significant elements in business strategy, development, and growth in a highly competitive, dynamic, and increasingly globalized environment. In this context, the course aims to identify business processes and consider artificial intelligence as one of the technological tools available in project development, emphasizing the CIO's role as responsible for IS/ICT management.

ICT Market and Policies (5 ECTS)
This course provides a current perspective on the Information Technology sector, including artificial intelligence, from a competitive and regulatory approach within the European context. It offers a sector characterization, enabling continuous market analysis, and introduces the main analysis sources and criteria for their proper incorporation into the organization when necessary.

ICT Management

Innovation Management (5 ECTS)
The CIO's new role in companies is becoming increasingly significant, highlighting their ability to add value through a strategic use of ICT and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, turning them into competitive advantages. To achieve this, it is essential to develop innovative models that drive business competitiveness through these technologies. This course addresses innovation methodologies and tools designed to enhance creativity, flexibility, and adaptability.

Project Management (5 ECTS)
In the IT world, project management has become an essential skill for achieving success. The increasing demand for competitiveness, market adaptation, and goal fulfillment in a globalized and dynamic environment has solidified its importance within organizations.

From the CIO's perspective, it is crucial to know, understand, and apply Agile and Lean Kanban methodologies in technological projects. Understanding the importance of Technology Project Management, along with the intelligent use of AI, is key to effectively leading them and successfully managing constant changes within the organization. This approach constitutes the main objective of the course.

ICT Service Management (5 ECTS)
The course aims to understand the importance of IT Service Management as a value lever for organizations. To this end, it focuses on understanding and managing IT department operations from a service- and quality-centered perspective. Among the various technological resources that can contribute to improving ICT services, artificial intelligence is included. Throughout the course, all key aspects of this field will be addressed, referencing the content of the current ITIL certification.

Master's Final Project (10 ECTS)

The objective of the Master's Final Project is to carry out a project that integrates and applies the knowledge acquired from the various courses of the Master's program, such as an IT Strategic Plan, a Digital Transformation Strategic Plan, an Artificial Intelligence Strategic Plan, the implementation of a new product or service, or a technological R&D initiative. The final project will be evaluated through a presentation before a panel.
